MULTIPURPOSE RUGGED FANLESS EDGE COMPUTER FOR ROLLING-STOCK APPLICATIONS
With the TRACe-B104, Kontron takes the outstanding new Intel® Atom® Quad-Core architecture and integrated graphics to the next level, offering 1.7x the CPU performance and 2x the GPU performance of its previous generation. In the form of a compact rugged fanless edge computer, TRACe-B104-TR is designed to sustain the most demanding railway and public transportation mission profiles in harsh environmental conditions. When powered by Kontron SEC-Line firmware (hardened openWRT hypervisor), TRACe-B104 becomes a secure Server/Router Gateway answering the challenges of edge computing with hardware root of trust, cybersecurity protections, virtualization and fleet management tools.
