Airborne Military Computers

Working with our partner 7Starlake we have a range of Military/Defence solutions that have been created to meet the demands of today’s military applications.
Mission-Critical Computing for High-G Environments
For Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), tactical fighter platforms, and rotary-wing aircraft, the mission computer is subject to the harshest combination of mechanical stress and electrical noise. Our portfolio of Airborne Military Computers is explicitly engineered to not only survive but to provide sustained, high-performance computing necessary for processing vast streams of sensor data, real-time control, and advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) applications.
Certified Compliance
Airborne electronics demand absolute adherence to exacting military and aerospace standards. Our systems are built upon a foundation of proven compliance, crucial for integration and flight certification:
- ATR (Air Transport Rack) Standard: Our enclosures strictly follow ATR specifications, ensuring mechanical compatibility within existing avionics racks. Available in 1/2, 3/4, and Full ATR sizes, this standard guarantees the physical form factor, rugged structure, and essential system-level protection.
- Environmental Survivability (MIL-STD-810G): Engineered for extended temperature operation (e.g., -40 to 75 degrees and qualified to withstand severe altitude, vibration, and thermal shock profiles. Select models are certified for mechanical shock up to 75Grms, vital for high-performance jet and rotorcraft deployment.
- Power & Signal Integrity (MIL-STD-704/MIL-STD-1275/MIL-STD-461F): These units incorporate advanced power supply filtering and voltage transient protection, ensuring stable operation from unstable aircraft 28V DC buses and maintaining EMI/EMC integrity to prevent interference with flight-critical communications and navigation systems.
- Ingress Protection (IP65): The rugged aluminium chassis provides high-level sealing against small particle contamination, a critical factor in protecting sensitive electronics during ground operations and maintenance.
Ultra-Density Processing and GPGPU Acceleration
The modern airborne mission relies on rapid, parallel processing for tasks such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) processing, video analytics, and autonomous control algorithms.
Our SFF Airborne Mission Computers integrate powerful Intel® Core™ and Xeon® processors with industry-leading GPGPU density. Configurations feature multiple high-core count NVIDIA® Quadro Embedded GPUs (e.g., 4 x P5000 MXM GPUs), providing massive CUDA performance to accelerate mission-critical compute tasks. With support for up to 128GB of DDR4 memory, these systems deliver the necessary throughput for real-time edge processing and sensor fusion.
Flexible I/O and System Expansion
Designed with system longevity and expandability in mind, our platforms utilise a modular rugged chassis architecture that supports stackable PCIe/104 I/O card expansion. This allows for the flexible integration of specialist mission I/O cards (e.g., MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429) without requiring a complete chassis redesign. All external connectivity is assured via rugged MIL-DTL-38999 connectors or robust M12 connections, guaranteeing electrical and physical security under all operational loads.
