Looking for a solid backbone for your industrial computing needs? Our PICMG 1.3 Industrial Backplane Series offers a wide range of options to suit any application, from handling hefty I/O demands to supporting high-end graphics.
These backplanes come in configurations ranging from a neat 3 slots all the way up to 19 slots. You’ll find plenty of PCI and PCIe slot choices, giving you the flexibility you need for your expansion cards. We even offer 1U and 2U butterfly backplane options for those tighter spaces.
The entire series is PICMG 1.3 compliant, meaning you’re getting industry-standard compatibility and reliability. We can supply these fully integrated and tested within a wide variety of chassis and configurations, saving you time and money.
PICMG 1.3 I/O Class Industrial Backplanes (I/O Centric)
PBPE-19AG64: A 19-slot backplane with one PCI-E x8, one PCI-E x4, and sixteen PCI-X slots. Ideal for a 4U up chassis. It boasts four PCI-X buses supporting all those PCI-X slots.
PBPE-14AD64: A capable 14-slot option featuring one PCI-E x8, one PCI-E x4, eight PCI-X, and three PCI slots. Fits nicely into a 4U chassis and offers four PCI-X buses for its eight PCI-X slots.
PBPE-08P41: An 8-slot backplane with one PCI-E x8 (x4 signal), two PCI-E x16 (x8 signal), and four PCI slots. Perfect for a Node chassis and designed for PICMG 1.3 system host boards. You also get four USB ports on this one.
PBPE-06V464: A vertical 6-slot backplane with one PCI-E x4 and four PCI-X slots. Designed to fit a 2U chassis and features dual PCI-X buses supporting those four PCI-X slots.
PBPE-06P2: Another 6-slot option, this time with one PCI-E x8 (x4 signal), two PCI-E x16 (x8 signal), and two PCI slots. Fits a Node chassis and comes with four handy USB ports.
PBPE-06A364: A 6-slot backplane sporting two PCI-E x16 (x8 signal), two PCI-X, and one PCI slot. Also designed for a Node chassis, it includes four USB ports, dual SATA ports, and two PCI-X buses for its two PCI-X expansion slots

PBPE-13A4: A 13-slot workhorse with one PCIe x16, two PCIe x16 (x1 signal), five PCIe x4 (x1 signal), and four PCI slots. Fits a 4U chassis and offers four USB 2.0 ports and dual SATA II ports.
PBPE-12P4: A 12-slot option featuring one PCIe x16 (x8 signal), two PCIe x8 (x4 signal), four PCIe x4 (x1 signal), and four PCI slots. Designed for a 4U chassis and supports PCIe Gen 3 from the processor. You also get four USB ports and two SATA ports.
PBPE-12AA64: A 12-slot backplane with eight PCI-X, one PCI-E x16, and two PCI slots. Fits a 4U chassis and includes four USB ports, dual SATA ports, and two PCI-X buses for its eight PCI-X slots.
PBPE-11A3: An 11-slot option with one PCIe x16, two PCIe x16 (x8 signal), four PCIe x8 (x1 signal), and three PCI slots. Designed for a 4U chassis and supports PCIe Gen 3 from the processor. Comes with four USB ports and two SATA ports.
PBPE-07P4: A 7-slot backplane with one PCI-E x4, one PCI-E x16, and four PCI slots. Ideal for a Node chassis and includes four USB ports and dual SATA ports.
PBPE-06V: A vertical 6-slot option with four PCIe x1 and one PCIe x16 slot. Fits a 2U chassis and features four USB ports, dual SATA ports, and a 24-pin ESP 12V power connector.
PBPE-06V3: Another vertical 6-slot backplane with one PCI-E x4, one PCI-E x16, and three PCI slots. Designed for a 2U chassis and comes with four USB ports and dual SATA ports.

PBPE-05A364: A 5-slot backplane with one PCI-E x16, two PCI-X, and one PCI slot. Fits a Node chassis and includes four USB ports, dual SATA ports, and two PCI-X buses for its two PCI-X expansion slots.
PBPE-03V-A: A vertical 3-slot backplane with one PCI-E x4 and one PCI-E x16 slot. Designed for a 1U chassis.
